These terms govern the relationship between MARENGO CONTAINERS, S.L. (hereinafter, “MAR CONTAINERS”) and the individuals or companies who request a quote or contract the sale, rental, transport or adaptation of shipping containers and prefabricated modules.

2. Purpose: this website is not an online shop
No purchases or payments are made through this website. The forms only allow you to request information or a personalised, no-obligation quote. Bank or card details are never requested.
Contracts are always concluded outside the website, through an accepted quote and the corresponding sale or rental agreement.
3. Ordering process
- Request. You send the form or get in touch by telephone, email or WhatsApp setting out your requirements.
- Quote. MAR CONTAINERS issues a quote stating the product or service, the price, applicable taxes, delivery terms and the period of validity.
- Acceptance. Your express acceptance of the quote concludes the contract.
- Formalisation and invoice. The sale or rental agreement is signed and a legal invoice is issued.
- Delivery. Transport and unloading are arranged at the agreed address.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
Any prices shown on the website are indicative and for information only: the applicable price will always be the one set out in the accepted quote. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in euros and do not include taxes, transport, unloading or permits, which will be itemised separately in the quote.
Payment terms and methods are agreed in the quote or the contract. MAR CONTAINERS does not request payments through the website or through channels other than those stated in the quote and the invoice; if in doubt, we recommend that you verify the company’s details before making any payment (see our Safe purchase page).
5. Availability and product specifications
The dimensions, capacities, weights and other specifications shown on the website are indicative and may vary depending on the manufacturer, the model and the condition of the unit. Used containers may show signs of previous use (marks, surface dents, paint or adhesive residue) that do not affect their functionality. The final specifications of the specific unit will be set out in the quote and the contract.
Stock availability is confirmed when the quote is issued.
6. Delivery and transport
The delivery time is stated in the quote and is indicative, as it depends on availability, destination and transport conditions. The customer must ensure that the delivery location is accessible for the vehicle and crane, that there is enough room to manoeuvre and a suitable base for the container to rest on, and that any necessary local permits are in place. Costs arising from inadequate access, waiting times or failed deliveries for reasons beyond MAR CONTAINERS’ control may be passed on to the customer.
We recommend inspecting the unit on delivery and noting any incident on the delivery note.
7. Warranties
Consumers have the statutory warranties set out in Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 approving the consolidated text of the General Act for the Defence of Consumers and Users. For second-hand goods, the warranty period may be reduced by agreement between the parties down to the statutory minimum of one year.
In transactions between companies or professionals, the regime laid down in the Spanish Commercial Code and Civil Code will apply, together with whatever is expressly agreed in the contract.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, by modifications made by third parties, by normal wear and tear or by inadequate installation or foundations.
8. Right of withdrawal
Where the contract is concluded at a distance or off-premises with a consumer, the consumer has 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving any reason, counted from receipt of the goods. To exercise this right, simply notify us in writing at sales@marcontainers.com.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, such as modified containers or custom-built modules. Given their size and weight, the direct cost of returning the goods will be borne by the consumer.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts entered into by companies or professionals.
9. Liability
MAR CONTAINERS is responsible for the correct performance of the contracted services on the agreed terms. It will not be liable for damage arising from use of the container other than as intended, from handling by third parties or from force majeure.
10. Complaints and dispute resolution
You may address any complaint to sales@marcontainers.com or to the postal address given above; it will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. In contracts with consumers, the competent court will be that of the consumer’s place of residence. In dealings with companies or professionals, the parties expressly submit to the courts of València (Valencia).
