Agricultural containers: farm storage, ready in days

On a farm or agricultural holding there is never enough enclosed space: for tools, small machinery, plant protection products or freshly harvested produce. Agricultural containers made from shipping containers solve the problem with no building work, no complicated planning permission and within a matter of days.

They are robust, weatherproof and lock with a padlock. We work with agricultural holdings all over Spain and advise you on the size, the type of opening and whether it is better to buy or rent for the season.

  • 10, 20 and 40 ft containers, new or used.
  • Side opening (Open Side) to bring machinery in easily.
  • Refrigerated units to keep fruit, vegetables or other perishables.
  • Delivery on rural tracks with the right vehicle.

Frequently asked questions about agricultural containers

Which container is best for a farm?

To store tools and small machinery, a used 20 ft Dry is the most common choice. If you will be moving machinery or pallets in and out frequently, the 20 ft Open Side, which opens along its entire side, makes loading much easier.

Can I rent a container just for the season?

Yes. The rental is tailored to the duration you need, for example a harvest season, and when it ends we collect the container.

Do you have refrigerated containers for the harvest?

Yes, 10, 20 and 40 ft refrigerated containers, new and used, to maintain the cold chain of your produce.

Can you deliver on a rural track?

In most cases, yes. We need to know about the access to choose the right vehicle: send us the location or a few photos of the track.

Do I need a licence to place a container on rural land?

It depends on the municipality and how you intend to use it. We recommend checking with your local council before installation.

Can plant protection products be stored in a container?

A lockable container is a good basis for a plant protection product store, but storing these products has its own requirements: check the regulations that apply to your holding.

What do you need to store on your farm?

Tell us the use and where the farm is, and we will suggest the right container, with transport included in the quote.
